ABOUT
FORD MARTIN
Ford Martin is an accomplished and dynamic sports broadcaster, known for his versatility as a play-by-play announcer, studio host, reporter, and anchor.
His broadcasting journey began at just 12 years old when he became a “National Motorsports Correspondent” for Tony Stewart Live on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, interviewing NASCAR drivers, sponsors, and team owners on a weekly motorsports show.
Since those early days, Ford has built an impressive career, appearing on various SPEED Channel and FOX Sports 1 shows, including Racing Chef, NASCAR Smarts, and NASCAR Raceday. He also co-hosted the HBO/PPV Eldora Live Race alongside NASCAR legend Darrell Waltrip and worked with FOX Sports Broadcaster Matt Yocum and NASCAR Champion Tony Stewart during NASCAR Championship Week in Las Vegas, hosting the pre-awards broadcast.
While attending High Point University from 2014 to 2018, Ford honed his craft as a Play-by-Play Broadcaster for the High Point Panthers, covering a wide range of sports on ESPN+ and the Big South Network. He graduated with a BA in Sports Communication/Digital Media in May 2018.
In the final semester at High Point, Ford joined FOX Sports as a Production Assistant Intern, working behind the scenes on various projects, from editing tape elements for live events to supporting producers on live broadcasts. His talent and dedication quickly led to promotions after graduation earning a Digital Specialist position with eventually earning the role of Lead Digital Producer a few years later. In this position, Ford managed major projects for FOX Digital and FOX Sports, including premier events like the Daytona 500, Super Bowl, World Cup, and World Series, as well as documentaries, short-form content, and live watch parties.
Simultaneously, Ford became a Play-by-Play Turn Announcer for the Motor Racing Network (MRN), calling multiple NASCAR races on radio stations nationwide and covering lower series NASCAR events for NASCAR.com. He also continued to broadcast a wide variety of sports, from football to field hockey, on ESPN platforms.
In 2023, Ford left FOX Sports to launch his own company, Mach10 Digital, leveraging the skills and experience he gained over six years at FOX. Mach10 Digital specializes in video production and content creation, working with athletes, brands, and content creators with a collective audience of over 2 million followers.
Today, Ford continues to travel throughout the Southeast, calling games for top universities from ESPN to The CW, creating digital content for athletes and companies, and establishing himself as a trusted name in sports broadcasting and video production.
Ford resides in Salisbury, NC, with his wife, Jessica, whom he married in May 2024, and their dog, Easton.
